What it is

Territory Chat is your ongoing strategic advisor for your local territory. Open a conversation and ask anything — about a competitor that just opened nearby, a neighborhood you're thinking about targeting, a promotion you're considering, or a pattern you noticed in your customer data. There's no script and no onboarding — just start talking.

This is the page you'll come back to constantly. Territory Chat knows your business, your competitor landscape, your customer heatmap, and your marketing history. The more you use it, the sharper its advice gets.

What to ask

There are no fixed questions. Some of the most valuable conversations:

Competitor moves — "A new [business type] just opened on [street]. How worried should I be?"
Marketing decisions — "I have $500 to spend this month. What would you do with it?"
Neighborhood targeting — "I want to grow in [zip code]. What's the opportunity there and what's the best way in?"
Slow periods — "We're slow every January. What have other businesses in my category done that worked?"
Customer patterns — "My heatmap shows I'm weak in [area]. Why might that be, and what can I do about it?"
Reality checks — "Does this idea make sense for a business like mine in this market?"

The map

Territory Chat controls the live map as you talk. When you ask about a competitor, the AI flies to their location and drops a marker with its strategic read. When you ask about a neighborhood, it zooms in and annotates what it sees. You don't have to ask it to use the map — it does this automatically whenever a location is relevant.

You can also toggle the customer heatmap and block group grid directly in the map panel to give the AI visual context while you're discussing territory strategy.

Memory

Territory Chat builds a persistent memory of your business as you talk. Competitors you mention, neighborhoods you've discussed, campaigns you've run, customer feedback patterns — all of it gets saved and carried into every future conversation.

Open the Memory panel from the header to see what the AI currently knows, update anything that's changed, or use Distill from chat to extract everything from the current conversation into memory at once.

Web search

Territory Chat can search the live web during a conversation. Ask about a specific competitor's hours, pricing, or recent reviews and it will look them up in real time. You don't need to tell it to search — it decides when a live lookup will give you a better answer than what it already knows.

Think of it like a business partner, not a search engine Don't come here looking for generic marketing tips. Come here with your actual situation — your specific neighborhood, your specific competitor, your specific budget. The more specific the question, the more useful the answer.
